Colorado Mountain Senior Pictures in Keystone

Pretty much her second home, the Colorado mountain town of Keystone, CO, seemed the perfect place for Genevieve's senior photo shoot. Her family often spends weekends hitting the slopes and hanging out at their condo. She and her mom had the inside scoop when it came to finding photo-worthy locations.

We began in an aspen grove behind Keystone mountain, where the leaves were a perfect yellow. We had fun making our way through the forest and capturing different shots along the way. After wearing a white dress to begin, Genevieve changed into a ruffled dark green velvet dress from Halara. This dress was a winner! Not only did it pop against the gold in the aspens, but it was fun in the meadow and continued to shine later in the forest.

I don't know if there's anything more fun and free than frolicking in a meadow in the sunshine. We got some great shots of Genevieve twirling in her ruffled dress and sun hat.

We made sure to get a couple of poses on the red ranch wagon before heading to location #2.

Even more hidden, our second location was an abandoned cabin along a gentle mountain stream. The shades of green from the moss and forest were gorgeous with the green dress, and the sun began to drop, giving us some beautiful backlit hair. The old wood from the cabin and dilapidated buildings created some nice texture in our photos.

We had a great time and got some stellar photos of Genevieve. And I now have two new favorite locations!
