When I met with Sammi and her mom for her senior picture planning meeting, she already knew she wanted to have her Colorado senior portraits taken in historic and beautiful Golden.
She made a great choice, as this quaint city at the foothills of the mountains offers so many gorgeous backdrops, from old buildings with amazing texture to natural settings along the river. It allows for a lot of variety in a session, giving you an extensive gallery of images for your senior portrait album.
Sammi nailed her outfit choices for her Golden senior pictures. First, she chose a casual outfit with jeans and a summery top, which went perfectly with the lighter wooden buildings in the historic park and with the flower garden.
Next, she went with a printed feminine summery dress that looked amazing among the sunflowers and backlit grasses, as well as against the historic wooden buildings. I always love getting natural yet stunning images for Colorado outdoor senior portraits.
Sammi's third outfit choice for her Golden senior portraits was a white dress with crocheted lace on the neckline. It really brought out her dark hair and looked amazing by the river as well as in town with the summer flowers and brick buildings.
Although we had to dodge people tubing and recreating in the river, we got some great water images for her senior photo gallery, and she even got to dip her toes in for some fun action shots.

After Sammi's senior portraits were presented in a gallery at her viewing and ordering appointment, she decided to order an heirloom album to tell her story. It's a keepsake that she'll treasure forever!
Sammi's senior pictures are a great example of how a great location and a variety of outfits make for an amazing photo shoot. Her session shows what you can expect from a Five Park's Photography Colorado senior portrait experience.
Since I aim to personalize every senior portrait experience, Sammi and I decided to do a second photo shoot that would showcase her involvement as a competitive diver. Read about that session here.
